My Service Offerings

Individual Therapy

In individual therapy, I give clients a safe space in which to explore internal and circumstantial matters that are causing concern. There are two things that differentiate therapy from talking with friends or family members. The first is that I am inherently an objective, non-judgmental party. My goal is helping you figure out what is best for you rather than taking a position. The second reason therapy is different is that I am bound by my licensure to keep your secrets safe and to keep our conversation confidential. Some of the benefits my clients report from individual therapy include:

  • Learning to ask for what you need

  • Identifying and expressing feelings

  • Setting and maintaining boundaries

  • Guidance in making life decisions

  • Learning self-acceptance and gaining confidence

  • Responding instead of reacting

  • A safe place to work on difficult issues such as grief, loss, and reconciling the past

  • Improving parenting skills

  • Building trust

  • Gaining hope

  • Learning how to be challenged

  • Gaining awareness and insight from a trusted person

Relationship Therapy

Relationship therapy is useful for individuals in various stages and types of relationships. This includes romantic partnerships such as marriage, dating or other kinds of relationship agreements; friendships; or other family relationships.  Most clients decide to begin therapy as a response to a conflict or other difficult situation.  My interactive approach can help clients with:

  • Better communication

  • Discussing difficult issues in a safe setting

  • Learning to resolve conflict and “fight fair”

  • Recovering from an affair or other violation of trust

  • Resolving sexual incompatibilities between romantic partners

  • Navigating financial challenges

  • Gaining hope that a difficult relationship can regain its footing

In addition to problem-solving, many clients seek relationship therapy to strengthen or enhance an already-solid relationship. Some of our work together includes the following:

  • Gaining hands-on tools for maintaining a successful relationship

  • Rediscovering what you appreciate about one another

  • Strategies for continued growth and keeping the relationship solid

  • Developing techniques for effective co-parenting

  • Enhancing sexual experiences for romantic partners

Business Partner Therapy

Business partner therapy is one of the best tools for strengthening and maintaining your company’s most vital relationship. When business partners aren’t on the same page, consequences can be catastrophic, both for the business itself and for all the related individuals. Business partner therapy mirrors couple’s therapy in a number of ways. We address trust issues, financial arrangements, and communication concerns. I work with business partners to:

  • Make sure details and disagreements aren’t overshadowing your vision for the company

  • Make communication easier so you can focus your energy on operations

  • Help you understand the issues that are interfering with your success

  • Maintain your relationship with one another outside the business setting (Most business partners start as friends or family members.)

  • Navigate financial disagreements

  • Improve company morale by helping you get aligned with one another

  • Turn your differences into strengths
